Dr. Amit Goswami, PhD, is a theoretical nuclear physicist and professor emeritus of The University of Oregon Institute for Theoretical Physics. His father was a Hindu guru in India, and in his work Dr. Goswami brings knowledge of mystical traditions together with his love for scientific exploration.
He is a pioneer of the new paradigm of science called science within consciousness, and the author of the highly successful textbook Quantum Mechanics. His two volume textbook for nonscientists titled The Physicist's View of Nature traces the decline and rediscovery of the concept of God within science.
Goswami has also written eight popular books based on his research on quantum physics and consciousness. In his seminal book, "The Self-Aware Universe," he solved the quantum measurement problem elucidating the famous observer effect while paving the path to a new paradigm of science based on the primacy of consciousness. Subsequently, in "The Visionary Window," Goswami demonstrated how science and spirituality could be integrated. In "Physics of the Soul" he developed a theory of survival after death and reincarnation. His book "Quantum Creativity" is a tour de force instruction on how to engage in both outer and inner creativity.
In "The Quantum Doctor," Goswami integrates conventional and alternative medicine. For over 25 years, Paul Rademacher has been studying the intersection between consciousness, spirituality and the Christian tradition. After graduating with a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1985, Mr. Rademacher spent 15 years in the pastoral ministry working in congregations in Muncie, IN and Charlotte, NC. From 1989 to 1992 he pursued doctoral studies in the areas of mysticism, meditation and spiritual practice, at the Ecumenical Theological Center in Detroit, MI.
In 1997 he attended, for the first time, The Monroe Institute and continued as a student there until 2000. In 2001 he became a residential facilitator at the Institute leading groups in experiential explorations of their inner awareness. Since October of 2007 he has served as the Executive Director of The Monroe Institute.
Before leaving the traditional ministry in 2000, Mr. Rademacher was able to bring together the worlds of spirituality and consciousness by introducing the Monroe methodology to small groups within his congregation.
Through courses he designed and taught, the participants were not only able to move personally into profound altered states of consciousness, but were also able to see the connection between these states and what Jesus termed “the kingdom of heaven.” For most of them it was their first introduction to perceptions beyond the physical body – an experience that was life changing for many.
Paul currently resides in Virginia with his family, and continues to lead humanity at the Monroe Institute, and as an author and spiritual leader.

Robert W. Hill, PhD., founded the Oaks Psychological Service in Abington, Virginia. He specializes in health psychology and behavioral medicine. He has been doing clinical work for about thirty years with the last twenty focused on biofeedback and neurofeedback. Hill has also been an adjunct professor in psychology at the college and university level.
He has received several awards and distinctions including an appointment to the Virginia State Board of Behavioral Science (1982-1985), the Virginia Psychological Association Federal Advocacy Award, the Outstanding Alumni Award (1996) in psychology for Virginia Commonwealth University, the Brian Othmer Award for significant contribution to the field of neurofeedback (2002 ). Hill holds a certification in EEG Biofeedback from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. He has also held certifications from the National Registry of Neurofeedback providers, the Neurotherapy Certification Board and the National Board of Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Dr Hill lives is Virginia.
Eduardo Castro, MD, co-author of book (not present in the hour), is the medical director of the Mount Rogers Clinic in Troutdale, Virginia, one of the leading alternative and complementary medical clinics in the United States.
He received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his post-graduate training in pathology and psychiatry at Georgetown University Hospitals and the University of Virginia Medical Center, respectively. Dr. Castro has served as the medical director of intensive diagnostic and treatment units in Charlottesville, Virginia, Greensboro, North Carolina, and Indianapolis, Indiana. He also established the Neurotherapy Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Castro resides in Virginia.

Stephen T. Asma is a professor of philosophy at Columbia College Chicago where he holds the title of Distinguished Scholar.
In 2003, he was Visiting Professor at the Buddhist Institute in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia. While there, he taught "Buddhist Philosophy" as part of their pilot Graduate Program in Buddhist Studies and studied Theravada Buddhism throughout Southeast Asia. His book, entitled The Gods Drink Whiskey: Stumbling Toward Enlightenment in the Land of the Tattered Buddha (HarperCollins), chronicles his adventures in Asia. He has also studied Buddhism and lived in Shanghai, China.
Asma is the author of several books, including Stuffed Animals and Pickled Heads: The Culture and Evolution of Natural History Museums (Oxford, 2001; 2003), Buddha for Beginners (Hampton Roads, Jan. 2009), and the forthcoming Why I Am a Buddhist (Hampton Roads, 2009).
He has written many articles on a broad range of topics that bridge the humanities, religion, and sciences, including “Against Transcendentalism” in the book Monty Python and Philosophy (Opencourt Press, 2006) and “Dinosaurs on the Ark: Natural History and the New Creation Museum” in The Chronicle of Higher Education (May 2007). Amit Goswami, PhD, is a theoretical nuclear physicist and professor emeritus of The University of Oregon Institute for Theoretical Physics. His father was a Hindu guru in India, and in his work Dr. Goswami brings knowledge of mystical traditions together with his love for scientific exploration.
He is a pioneer of the new paradigm of science called science within consciousness, and the author of the highly successful textbook Quantum Mechanics. Bob Gebelein graduated from Harvard in 1956 with a BA in Mathematics. In 1955, he saw the threat of nuclear annihilation as proof of total systems failure, so he turned his back on the culture and set out to design a new civilization.
Bob has worked as a computer programmer and creator of software systems for approximately 20 years. Eliza Mada Dalian was born in Armenia.
