Pau Gasol and Others Remember Kobe Bryant on His 44th Birthday

Former Laker teammate Pau Gasol was just a few of the many players who took to social networking Tuesday to remember Kobe Bryant's birthday.

Bryant would have been 44 years old on August 23, 2009.

“Happy birthday, hermano. Miss you, always,” Gasol tweeted.

“Happy birthday, baby! I love you and miss you so much! #44,” posted Vanessa Bryant.

Hulu's "Legacy:The True Story of the LA Lakers" documentary features the Lakers.

The documentary chronicles the rise of Dr. Jerry Buss' Lakers through the Showtime Era and the KobeShaq three-peat.

Interviews with LeBron James and Magic Johnson, Kareem Abde-Jabbar Kareem Abdul–Jabbar, Pat Riley, Jeanie buss, and other celebrities are part of the series.

Bryant was an 18-time All-Star and five-time NBA champion. He was also a four-time All-Star MVP,

two-time Finals MVP, 2007-08 regular season MVP, as well as a two-time All-Star MVP.

He was also inducted into Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the 75th anniversary team and a Oscar winner.
